Meet the Board:

What do you like about being involved with the Society?
From your first days as Winterthur Fellow, you immediately feel like you have a new extended family. You feel surrounded by a supportive network of other fellows, faculty, and alumni. As a recent alumna, I want to keep those connections strong and help foster them for current fellows and recent graduates of both programs.
Give me a memorable moment from your days as a Fellow.
I will never forget the tea party my classmates and I organized with our culture fellow counterparts in the fall of the first year. We dressed in our finest, enjoyed a lovely spread of sandwiches and cookies on Icewell Terrace, and played croquet in field near the Pinetum. It was a great way to get to know each other...and we certain that Henry Francis du Pont would have approved!
Did your time at Winterthur feel short or long?
Every Winterthur Fellow remembers long days and nights spent in the lab, library, and/or lounge. At the same time, three years passed before I knew it. Time flies when you are passionate about what you are studying and having fun with classmates you adore.
